Some far right Muslims openly celebrating this shooting because it was intended against Jews (while having the Palestine flag and fighting for “humanity”)…
while other disgusting far right accounts using this tragedy to label all Muslims as terrorists because one psychopath decided to go crazy.
No one actually cares about the poor victims that were killed or the hundreds of people that are deeply scarred and traumatised by this event. They actually are probably excited as this is is the perfect tool to push their racist propaganda.
The far right Christians are hopeless. They’ve been doing this forever. Going radio silent whenever the shooter is white (so like every other day in the US) and suddenly calling for the deportation of all Muslims and browns when the perpetrator is of colour by one chance. I don’t really expect anything from those mongrels.
But I’m very disappointed in the Muslims (especially the ones with Palestine flags in their bio) celebrating this. They’re no better than Zionists. You can’t oppose a genocide then celebrate a shooting intended at killing a people of a certain religion. You’re literally just as bad, if not worse since you’re a piece of shit hypocrite as well. I guess humanity only matters to these fools when it’s Muslims being oppressed. They don’t really care about the poor Palestinians suffering a genocide either. They just want to use it as an excuse to be anti Semitic against Jews. They hate Jews more than they care for victims of a genocide.
I really sincerely hope that anyone reading this realises you don’t have to adopt a “us vs them” mentality and choose one camp. You really don’t. You can oppose the evil war crimes Israel are doing and criticise their evil regime for committing a genocide while also not celebrating terrorist psychopaths that want to kill all Jews. It’s not something that’s hard to do. This is basic humanity.

How many people would need to sign the petition (reasonnably) for the staff to consider potential change?
Far right one yeah. Authoritarian one yeah. Religious one also yeah. But that's not because of the radicalization, that's because of the values that such radicalization creates.
The better question would rather be: Is it ethical to radicalize and if yes, in which context?
A prime rule of politics is that a space where reactionaries and fascist can talk freely can only adopt these values over time.
This means that in a fascist world, a forum such as this one, with only basic rules of conduct, will eventually let fascist and reactionaries enter the space, which will eventually push the space toward reactionarism and toxicity. This is not an invention, this is a basic political and social process.
If you want this place to be positive place, then this forum needs to contain the trashtalking behavior and adopt an ethical stance. Then it must be protected from the reactionnarism. I'm really not overestimating the importance of having progressive an ethical space on the internet in the current geopolitical context (fascism rising everywhere).
