LFI is not better than RN in my book
But the whole NFP with socialist + Green Party + LFI is better than the RN (far right) alone
because Socialist who are reasonable and a real Republican Party would balance things
And the NFP/left alliance doesn’t include liberals or center. And it’s the real problem of that alliance. Because of the far left they can’t open up the alliance to center or more reasonnable left
Because the far left has a lot of weight in its alliance this will never works

To be fair they all did two terms as far as I can recall. Except for Hollande who had no charisma and had betrayed half of the country (his term killed the popularity of the Socialist Party) and Sarkozy who was so deep in corruption that only Berlusconi and Trump could rival with him.
