Children don't know for sure who they are

Of course they do. Did you think you were a girl when you were little or a boy ?

Thinking that kid don't know who they are is stripping them completely of their agentivity. When a kid is traversing gender disphoria, we are not talking about a simple confusion on wether the kid think they are a boy or a girl, we are talking about a REAL SUFFERING with REAL COMORBIDITIES that can lead toward suicide or suicidal attempts.

Children don't know for sure who they are. And they shouldn't be able to make such life changing decisions so young.

Imagine a kid who identifies as Lunarian or Angel then gets his parents to pay for wing implants on their back.

When it comes to children, I don't think the future is going to look back kindly on this experiment.

And yet it already does, results shows that gender affirming care reduce the risk for self haming behavior and risk of comorbidities related to gender disphoria.

However you look at it. When a child is suffering, we must support them.

We already see a large shift of these girls coming out with regret and saying they were tricked by doctors and therapists who wanted to line their pockets.

Not large at all no. In reality, the number of people regretting their transition is extremily low.

They all said no. They are too young to make such decisions

Which is logical because those are two very different things.

Its like asking to a kid if they knows what they wants to do when they grow up AND if they know if they are existing.

One of the answer will be something they can't be sure about because they are kids, the other is a logical yes.



That's the same with gender. Did you ever felt like you were the opposite gender when you were kid ? Well no, right ? Well, that's the same here, some are SURE they are.
