When you are a criminal, you serve time in prison. This sentence is meant to put you away from society to keep it safe, not to torture you or to make you work for nothing on top of that.
Those two things are against human rights.

it’s that fact that you can’t even comprehend why anyone would vote for this or not oppose is what I pointed out. Most people wouldn’t care if a murderer is forced to work without pay because the average person sees prison as punitive.

It's funny, because you think that I don't understand this vote. I do. I have been understanding this type of conservative voting for a long time now. The problem is that I believe in people to do the human choice and I'm constantly dissapointed.
