Israeli support of the war is mainly due to October 7th. The Israelis who want to settle, the religious Zionists, are a minority.

They are still dangerous due to how radical they are and they very well could get their way.

But that’s not why you will see Israelis and diaspora Jews defending the war. They defend the war because they(rightfully) see Hamas as a threat to their people.

Anyways I’m anti war, I’m just explaining a perspective I understand very well because I’m part of a Jewish community and have heard this stuff spoken countless times over.

Israelis have a right to want to destroy Hamas, an org that killed 1000 Israelis on October 7th and took 250 more hostage.

Me saying that doesn’t excuse war crimes Israelis commit as a result
