Dark times...One of my locals priests joined the sedevacantist movement cause the Vatican released a letter saying they won't get involved in any pedophilia scandals. This happened a few years ago. Pedophiles are everywhere there are kids vulnerable and away from parents. The Catholic church isn't more or less pedo than any other institution, but what the Church does to save face is disgraceful. It's nasty.

Nuclear is just a buzz word these days. No country is insane enough to use it as it would come up with a cost which no one including their own citizens would be willing to pay.
Using Nuclear is suicidal and self - destructive and so it would remain just a buzz word and to be used as a deterrent until using Nuclear is the only option left which I don't think is the case with Russia and Pakistan...

Russia is way way way more stable than Pakistan is, not even a comparison, their past PM was raped in jail, he stood for the people and was a famous cricketer, most of their top officials are leaving the nation and settling in abroad, the county is infested with terrorism, even the local commoner lost faith in the current government.

Global Condemnation: The use of nuclear weapons would provoke intense global backlash, diplomatic isolation, and economic sanctions with no bail out plans pushing economy into long recession period.
Conventional weapons have become more advanced and effective as well.
