See, i dont look at right wing , left wing and these issues as political problems .. I see them a fundamentally moral ones

Its ironic because i'd consider right wing to be morally sound because of the shared values when it comes to issue like Palestine, but I'm flabbergasted with how close minded under the rock many if not most of them are that they don't entertain the possibility that, you know, maybe there is more to it than what we are made to believe.. maybe this should be investigated through an independent moral lense.

frustrating because i get the impression leftists are mostly morally secular and prone to morally arbitrary takes , but they are open to investigation and change.. Extreme change at times sure.. At least it doesn't make them rationally mute to reality or other possibilities right? And they happen to draw morally partially / fully morally sound conclusions.

Idk why you’re surprised at all. Regardless of your religious believes, you should at least recognize that basing your morals on empathy and shared humanity is very much synonymous with western left values.

And i agree that the left is intuitive and open to recognizing desirable human values including but not limited to being more considerate and rational at times, but far left also has this dogma problem like the far right where if you don't subscribe to or recognize their ideas then you sre essentially seen as the problem. That basically transpires into.. sure empathic and sympathetic traits and moral consideration but an extremely radical lense on it where no other application of those values to derive a different moral conclusion is seen acceptable.
