I don’t know the source material well enough to keep the metaphor going, I just know I felt a piece of my soul break off and disintegrate when I read that the first time

I want to change the way I speak anyway. So I scrapped what I initially wrote and I will try to use that as a way to change.
Just know that this music is special to me, it was not a question of ego, but real fear of missunderstanding. On those words.. I'll leave it at that.
It depends. For some it comes through the training and the conditionning, for others it preexist the profession and is a result of simple conservative or patriotic background.

Systemic racism, while technically a domination system is actually not the ""real"" problem, the problem is white supremacy and the domination of whiteness. THIS is the real domination system that forces racists system to impose their domination and racial hierachization on the current world. Creating imperialism, racism, colonialism etc.

You try to change people....not influence them
Trying to change people come across as forceful approach and thus people will offer you more resistance. Even ignore you.
Change always come from within....
And, therefore you need to influence them.
You need to connect with people, understand them, and influence them..
Youtube isn't about changing people or being an expert.
But giving voice to your thoughts, your opinion or skills and connect with people and even influence them....not forcefully, but through sharing your knowledge and showing understanding
Anything would do other than words ending with -ism or -ist lmao
