Yes. It's especially true when there was nothing to correct. Those guys are using it as a meme regardless of its original purpose. I think you can't help but butt your head in if you think it'll make you look like the smartest person in the room.
You know what ? I will hear you.

I want to change the way I speak anyway. So I scrapped what I initially wrote and I will try to use that as a way to change.

Just know that this music is special to me, it was not a question of ego, but real fear of missunderstanding. On those words.. I'll leave it at that.

Bro, genuine question, do you think they just shoot every cop with some racism beam when they join?
It depends. For some it comes through the training and the conditionning, for others it preexist the profession and is a result of simple conservative or patriotic background.

While I obviously agree that conservatives are universally evil, this is the cringiest thing I’ve ever read :whitepress:
Oh yeah, I saw cringy similar stuff after Andor. Some people explaining how democrates were actually the rebels.

Technically they are the Jedi. ... And the rebel counsil. But nothing more.

Btw: I'm constantly making the same mistake when I try to explain dominations:

Systemic racism, while technically a domination system is actually not the ""real"" problem, the problem is white supremacy and the domination of whiteness. THIS is the real domination system that forces racists system to impose their domination and racial hierachization on the current world. Creating imperialism, racism, colonialism etc.

Why don't you start your own YouTube channel?
A lot of people are so much better at politics & stuff than me. I'm just a random guy who tries to change a One Piece forum, that's all.

Kirk was a pro-immigration, Jew-worshipping liberal.

Well I am a syndicalist so I'm far left

The quote was this though:

"I have a very, very radical view on this, but I can defend it, and I've thought about it. We made a huge mistake when we passed the Civil Rights Act in the mid-1960s."

And I mean there are other quotes where he says black women don't have enough brainpower for certain positions, he even died spreading racism, he was asked if he knew how many mass shooters there were in the past something years, he said "Including gang violence or not?", and then he was shot

I would really recommend though if you want to, please check out this video, it is very good

That's the issue with you

You try to change people....not influence them

Trying to change people come across as forceful approach and thus people will offer you more resistance. Even ignore you.

Change always come from within....

And, therefore you need to influence them.
You need to connect with people, understand them, and influence them..

Youtube isn't about changing people or being an expert.

But giving voice to your thoughts, your opinion or skills and connect with people and even influence them....not forcefully, but through sharing your knowledge and showing understanding

What should he name it?
Anything would do other than words ending with -ism or -ist lmao

I see.
RyoQ was threadban last night. He won't answer you btw
Oh man

Alrighty then I will explain the issue here @RyoQ , this is a gigantic issue that both republicans and democrats encourage to get worse

The issue of wage labour goes like this

People are spread into two camps, workers and owners of capital ( capitalists )

Capitalists own some capital, and the workers work with that capital, called the means of production, to produce value

Like for example I guess you could count stock, machinery used in production, etc, as capital

The issue is this:

The worker produces some value

Some of that value is used to pay the worker wages

The rest is taken as profit by the capitalist, why? Because the capitalist owns the means of production

Only because they own the means of production, even though they did no producing, no work, the capitalist gets a part of the value that the worker produces

The wealth of these billionares and millionares, what it is, is money that they got by owning capital, that workers produced with, and they, by virtue of just owning that capital, not by working, got part of that value, and it accumulated into their wealth

That is why profit is theft, and why capitalists act as economic parasites, leeching off of the work that workers produce, and gathering all the wealth, that regular people would have to share, if they would have owned the means of production themselves

The solution to this is abolishing capitalism, by having the workers own those means of production themselves

But I think it is very important to mention, there are mainly two types of socialists, state socialists ( Lenin, Stalin, Mao, Xi Jinping, etc ) and anarchists

State socialists want a strong state that they think represents the workers' interests, to manage the means of production, until it would eventually dissolve ( this was proven wrong decades before the russian revolution, in debates between the state socialists and the anarchists )

Anarchists want workers to have direct control of the means of production, like the workers of a company, themselves, get to vote and decide what to do and stuff

Anarchists actually have a pretty big history, with being the resistance in the Spanish Civil War, fighting in the russian civil war and being betrayed by the leninists, George Orwell, who wrote 1984, actually said that he wrote a lot of, or everything that he wrote, in support for democratic socialism, they did a lot of union organizing, etc

So socialism doesn't means having a strong state as a tyrant over you, it just means you are not exploited by a capitalist, and get to have a democratic workplace, and also benefit from the improvements made from overall not having a few people act as economic parasites and gather huge wealth from that, that can instead be used for everyone's shared benefit

And I really really recommend this video

The only people who cry and lash out when fascists die are fellow fascists, there’s no need to slow down for these nutjob mongrels who so happily cheer on the pain and misery their neighbors go through because of their votes and actions :kayneshrug:
hard to show any sympathy for someone who had little sympathy himself
but we need to tone down on the blanket labels because it shuts down any sort of discussion.
the unfortunate thing about america is very normal/ a lot of average people had some of the opinions kirk had.
some of it is due to cultural upbringing, some religious dogma, and some are just genuinely assholes but in a country where 75 million people voted for the current regime, i am fairly certain you are likely to find more people from the first two camps than the last.
