I have a problem tho, I cannot spend 2 more years just aknowledging the fact that other people's experience matter when their words are actually harmfull in an active way and when I know there is an active danger lumming over this place and overall fanbase.

It would be one thing to be patient and connect with someone who I can have conflictual yet constructive discussions with like Jew, Monster or Toby, it's another to take the time to connect with people who are doing actual harm like Ravager or Herrera even when they are not aware of it.

Here, while not being the only one to go against their rethoric, We are only two trying to bring popular education to the table and it feels like I'm "fighting" alone against this staff because I understand the most the danger of just allowing them to strive in such a space. Simply because I'm directly impacted by their rethoric.

I understood that it was almost impossible to influence them directly, so this only chance I got, is to make others understand the danger.

So what would you do if you were me and you wanted to protect new people or the fanbase from them?

Communism is basically a stateless and classless society where the means of production belong to the collective working force. It's a supposed society where domination of human over other human do not exist anymore.

Socialism is a supposed state of transition between capitalism and Communism. It can have multiple face since there are multiple ways of picturing said transition. The goal of socialism is to transfert the means of productions from the bourgoisie and private concentrated property to the collective working force and better the material conditions of existence of all, to a point where we end up in a communist society.. or not, some socialist can also be refomist that do not aim toward the end goal that is communist. But Socialism is a transmormative system that aims to pushes society toward better material conditions of existence.

Fascism is a form of ethnonationalist and authoritarian set of behaviors and system where different sets of values are promoted : For more information, you can read the essay of Umberto Eco on Ur-Fascism. The goal of this system is to push for the unity of the people toward a supposed better future.

If I were in your shoes then....


1) Pick my political space - This forum primarily and majorly serve as forum for one piece. Political topics are mostly background noises here.

Even if some do show interests then most people are not coming here to learn but to vent and express themselves as freely and as anonymously they can.

So, I will find my political space.

2) Youtube - would be my first priority for political space. I can speak my mind freely. Additionally, I can influence people through YouTube at much bigger scale than any other forums.

Even if some will disagree, there will be others who would align with my world view. So, I will get to connect with them and influence them.

Progress will be slower, I have to be more creative but in long run, I will have bigger base to reach out.

3) Way to connect - I will find my own way to connect with them.

Maybe picking up real life ongoing case study to tell them my thoughts.

Or... Perhaps sharing news and my own observations to make my point clear.

I might even try animations such as motion graphics to reach wider audience.

4) Approach - no leader (even fascists ones like Hitler) ever tried to change people's world view forcefully. They used their communication skills or orator skills to influence people.

So, my focus would be on communication skills and making my point come across in a manner that touches people nerve and emotions rather than trying to change them or impose anything on them.

While I disagree with the notion that more guns is the answer, at this point in America disarming the public would backfire tremendously. A gunless society is a beautiful concept but its too idealistic when there are so many bad actors. In a lot of cases, guns do indeed deter criminals but in some cases, that won't even stop deranged individuals who were willing to die from the start. Maybe having armed personnel in more places will protect more innocents more often but there will still be tragedies. Also doesn't that reflect rather poorly upon the state of a nation if your shopping centers and schools have to look like prisons?

Can you give examples of places with high gun ownership and low violent crime?

Your last take I can agree with but I don't think its a situation where we should be focusing on those things and not legislation. Both of these things should be prioritized. Ironically, leftist policies often try to push for things like accessible mental health care and rehab for everyone. Not saying these things are foreign concepts to the right but they approach these things with a more individualistic mindset rather than believing these things should be freely offered. If someone who is a victim of bullying, drug use, child abuse and loneliness is born into poverty and can't afford something like therapy or rehab then what are their options?

Interesting and you are right. This is mostly why I use my experience as a way to convey message. It's much more telling than if I talk about some random person people don't know.

But the result is the fact that people believe I'm egotistical, which is true in a sense, as it is a protection mechanism to survive my situation and to keep myself afloat, but it's not as strong as people make it to be here.

You are right. This is also why I came back with a much less conflictual mindset than before.

I consider that it's useless to force knowledge and instead I'm trying to find common grounds. Even tho, it still requieres a lot of explaination a lot of times.

There are things I know that simply can't be shared without acting like a teacher; it's sad, but it's inevitable. (I tried giving ressources first if you recall, there is an entire thread without explanation, just a bunch a ressources with bullet points)... but it's ignored completely even tho it could be massively helpfull for people to understand a lot of stuff.

It's either I try to explain and reach out.... or I let people do harm without reacting. Now, you are right on communication, this is something I struggle with and I need to improve. Sadly I was never trained to speak to an audience, or to explain stuff, so I lack the basics. (also I deeply believe I'm kind of on the very lower end of the spectre of autism if I'm being honest, which doesn't help me at all, I've noticed a few problems with social interactions overall)

I agree with this. I think the root cause of what's going on is American culture and lifestyle itself. Americans always segregated themselves into groups. Racism has always been a staple (most mass shooters are white, mind you). Urban lifestyle alienates people. In cities, you can live your whole life in a miniscule cubicle without anybody knowing who you are. Families send their kids away at the age of 18 for some reason. Lots of parties with drugs. Fucked up families are a big deal. Single moms. Divorce. Abusive parents. Abusive school, college, and workplace colleagues. Narcissists. Psychopaths. Apathetic people. Schizophrenic people that are not taking medications... The economy is going to shit and creating hordes of unemployed people. It's a mess.

I think Brazil is even worse, but for some reason we don't have as many individuals with this level of resentment and homicidal anger towards society. I think the reason is we are more extroverted on average. It's easy to create your own group of friends and stuff.
Look, social democracy causes economic stagnation and exacerbates poverty. But at the same time, taking people out of misery (financial, health, etc.) without charity or a well-structured, planned, executed, and administered social security system is probably impossible. I'm not an expert in US problems, but it seems to me there is no easy/quick fix for the phenomenon of mass shooters.

Assistencialism can also backfire royally. Just look at how expensive the Brazilian public machine is and how shitty the services are.
Every election the same shit: "We will give you free education, healthcare, security, and infrastructure." Vote for us. The other guys didn't know what they were doing, but we know." .Using these words, they bleed us dry of the little money we have, take our freedoms, and keep us in poverty. This is why I believe in minarchism. Let people be free to figure out for themselves the solutions for their problems. I'm not waiting for a messiah that is a politician of public servant. I don't really expect anything good from the future.

I think by the time I die, this place will be the same or even worse.
