The more I see the right and the left in the USA, more I feel that on the surface level they might be poles apart, but deep down they operate with the same system framework.

Two sides of same coin.

I seriously feel USA needs a leader who can unite both right and left, but I guess this is becoming more of a wishful thinking than a real possibility considering the growing polarization

I mean, yeah, on the left we have those back and forth also between leftist we consider too idealists or too liberals.... but the level of the discussion.... it's like completely different.

When I hear a debate between two communist and marxists or anticolonist.. I literally have to read some books or look at 20 podcast to understand the BASIS for the sociological concepts and point of view.. of the discourse, and most of the time I end up not understanding what they are arguing about as it is too complex for me.

i do get when people are annoyed if characters where their skin color is one of the defining characteristics (like snow white, where its about how she is super pale) gets changed up. feels unnecessary, so the assumption is that the cast is solely for diversity points.
