Also, just because democrats are left to the republicans, doesn't make the democrats the left

If by the left you mean democrats, I agree, I hate its politics

But by the left what I mean, is social democrats and socialists

And even the leftist places I am on, social democrats are reffered to as right wing by some people





And the left as a whole is not good, authoritarian socialism is miserable, and it's just state capitalism with the state bureaucrats taking the role of the capitalists

That's really what I said in the beginning. It's impossible to mod a politics thread, either scratch all rules and let everyone nuke each other, or close it. So what Van and AL have been doing trying to keep things somewhat moderated is actually pretty impressive.

Now that I’m older and have reached higher levels of corporate, I regret the feelings I had I towards customer support agents when I was young. I’m sorry, I had no idea what the new slave masters "The Billionaires" were putting you through.

I'd already seen so much evil over the last 5 years (especially during COVID times), but I was at a conference a few weeks back and these private equity devils are openly bragging about funding research to study churn patters vs support investment.

In laymen's terms: They spent millions of $s to understand how little salary, training, and advanced tools they can provide their remaining human support agents, ultimately providing shitty support to customers, without losing those customers.

And let's not talk about the "how many HEADS are you projected to replace in your support division by AI by the end of the year?" conversations as they simultaneously boast record revenue. One of those moments where I go back and rewatch Luffy punching Charloss in the face on repeat lol

And don't get me wrong this isn't a "KILL THE RICH AND EQUALLY DISTRIBUTE WEALTH" type of naive communist argument. It's just basic "Let's provide our employees with basic necessities to perform their jobs without fighting for their lives everyday". Yes, that would only cause you to have 1.7 instead of 2 billion in equity. Imagine the horror :josad:
