When will remorseful MAGAts get this through their TBI-padded skulls?? WE DON’T FUCKING CARE IF YOU REGRET YOUR VOTE!! Literally everyone else on Earth BEGGED you, PLEADED with you, gave you ALL the reasons not to do this, and you still went ahead and did it!! THREE TIMES!!! It’s ENTIRELY your fault that you got played like a dumbass, own up to it!! Christ…if you really feel that upset, go volunteer at a food bank or donate to a local progressive candidate, do something actually fucking useful instead of crying like the massive babies we already think you are:halt:
"Trump said he was going to do this stuff to the minorities I hate, not me.

I'm shocked, I'm a victim, help. How could he do this to us, when we wanted him to hurt others, instead???"

The child-murdering leadership of the Democratic Party exists to keep real liberals and young people from gaining power, and to ensure the Republicans can succeed in rigging elections like they did in 2000 and 2024.

Schumer has proved the Dems have no problem selling out to a gang of pedophiles.

The Dem leadership exists to stop actual progressives from gaining power.

You have nothing to laugh about, you are included in people not being able to listen because of their ideological biases.

Like trauma in the case of my example and in the case of the subject : a fanbase that is corrupted little by little by toxicity and negativity. And it's very easy to see that when we expand our look outside of the manga only fanbase and we look to reactors and anime only. There is a complete shift in the way both part of the fandom consume the story and thus two very different way to appreciate it.

i was laughing because it hardly applies when we are just talking about a weird panel in a manga lmao.

and no, your characterization of me here still isnt true.

but at the end of the day its inevitable for negativity to be around us, whether it be an anime forum or IRL, so i think people should be capable of dealing with such negativity without crying about it all the time instead of insisting that everyone be positive.

There are always ideological biases. There are massive one in the fanbase. For example, believing that One Piece has gotten worse since the time skip IS an ideology. This one creates fallacious analysis and biases that I'm fighting all the time.

People who think they are rational are among the people who will usually have a harder time understanding and taking into account their own biases.

Negativity is not inevitable. That's a fatalist stance. And since you like the word, it's not a "rational" one. There are no reason to accept negativity and negativity is not something that must necessarily appear. It's a social construct. If you have accepted negativity, good for you, I'm not that kind of person.

thats an ideology? holy smoly
Indeed, it is. You could call it the "One Piss" ideology. After 15 years, it has now become a complex and coherent belief system with fake information, rumors, sub beliefs, behaviors, social pattern, groups with ideological interests and conflict etc. On a sociological basis, it would be interesting to analyze it, but for me, it's an horror that I've been watching grow bigger & bigger over the years, helplessly.

If you think you (or anyone for that matter) can change the world in a way where no single human individual is ever negative again, that is completely idealistic and utopian and detached from reality.

maybe i didnt articulate it properly and you thought i was saying that every single human is negative to an extent? i definitely didnt try to say that.

and yeah no, i didnt "accept" negativity, i accepted that many people are negative on a regular basis and i have to deal with it somehow without the negativity making me negative, if that makes any sense.

so everyone that thinks one piece lost quality after the time skip subscribes to this ideology?

Nice strawman. That's not what I meant.

Good for you. I'm myself I'm sick of "having to deal with it". I have been doing that for years and I would love for this fanbase to be healthy instead of a ragefest. And if you are wondering why I'm not finding a new place it's because : A - ALL the fanbase is corrupted by this behavior as this is something not related to One Piece, B - I don't know why I should be the one to leave. I don't accept that paradigm

They at least have a foot in it. The affirmation stands on an analysis of the manga, analysis that implies others sub beliefs that can vary (Changes of editors has affected Y, X arc is bad, Strawhats are irrelevant now etc.). I could depict an entire mindmap of this ideology just to show how coherent is is. In fact it's so coherent that in whole cake I remember predicting what people would say in Wano.

man this is what happens when you’re into pop politics and the only other hobby you have is one piece
I must admit I wouldn't say all of that if I could focus on something else lmao

cant make this shit up

its not that you should leave, but if you expect people to not be negative and voice their negative opinion, then you are also at fault for having illegitimate expectations that lead to your own negativity about the negativity of others.

Jew D. Boy

I Can Go Lower
People are truly dense in America. Never have I seen of a president blatantly willing to starve his country.

It’s not even a hypothetical even for a MAGA voter anymore. He is and always was about the billionaires and the rich. Doesn’t matter if you agree with his hateful rhetoric and they are finding out the the hard way.

But yeah people fucking told them. Now are they going to sit out elections or vote in favor of a government that bare minimum…bare minimum believes nobody should starve?

This will be normalized, and next middle and lower class will just be treated subhuman to the wealthy. Thats what they want to do slowly.
It’s just crazy how “Poor people should have access to food” is a radical stance to brainless conservatives, most of whom are also forced to live well below their means…like, you are SO much closer to living on the street than living in a gold-encrusted high-rise apartment, you’ll NEVER be able to pull your bootstrings high enough to live like the greedy billionaires who stole your hard earned money from you. MAGAts just don’t realize that Donnie and his ilk are telling them to fear their neighbors precisely so they can rob them blind while they’re looking the other way, and when you try to open their eyes, they think YOU’RE the problem…you just can’t train that kind of stupidity out of someone, it can’t be done.

I suppose believing Carrot would be a SH or sneaking onto their ship after Wano doesn't count as having false expectations.
I never really expected Carrot to join. I rather "thought" she would join and I made a clear hypothesis/affirmation. There is here a big nuance that most people never got (even Carrot fans whom I tried to explain this). Expecting is knowing and adjusting our enjoyment based on the expectation, something happens. Thinking is different, the enjoyment is not affected if what we believe don't happen.

It's still a strawman mate. You are making an affirmation and comparison based on a deformation of my own reasoning. Don't be surprised.

"if X is what you are saying, you are wrong".

Logiko "you claimed i said X"

thats not how this shit works, but this explains alot we had to deal with the last couple days.
