OK, you are just here to argue rhetoric, not reality. There are many tens of reasons American companies such as Apple, Microsoft, Amazon cannot simply "move abroad" and it would be impossible without losing trillions and probably collapsing.

They would be forced to intern, train and hire American but apparently multimillion/billion dollar companies are like a food truck that can just pack their equipment and move to another country
:lulz::lulz:
My guy, you understimate how simply things can get sold out. Multibillion dollars companies often build factories for just one contract and then sell everything once the contract is expired. Beretta used to have a factory in Brazil.

These companies aren’t beholden to the American people

sure, it won’t happen overnight

But when they’re doing their long term planning why would they want to invest in a country that deports thousands of their own workers?

You really don’t think they could transition to Canada, Germany, Australia, etc. ?

Money making, ofc that's a given, but what you said is exactly what they're doing, You first or as well need to make sure your people are compensated well, happy workers and all.
My guy, you don't understand. Whoever can run their operation the cheapest, usually wins. Production costs make or break a business. It isn't as simple as bad capitalists wanting more profit. Whoever makes the best quality for the lowest price wins the market. Saving costs on labour means companies can a sell their goods for lower prices too.

That's part of the problem. Penny pinching on the people. I understand doing enough for efficiency, but there has to be fine drawn.

Oh my goodness

how the fuck is a company like Amazon or Microsoft going to just move countries? You realize that would cost billions, for some companies trillions? And it would obliterate the stock market and destroy investment into these companies?

This moron really thinks Apple is just a food truck you can move to India or some shit. Lmao

Unblocked you briefly just to say no, for the vast majority of companies that rely on H1B, they are far too large to leave the US and it would not be profitable at all, and it would cost billions.

I’m not saying they do a 100% pull out of the US

But if you make business in America less profitable they will invest less, and that will hurt Americans.

That’s basic economics.

You want to improve employment you create job guarantee programs, you don’t get rid of folk who are already contributing to the economy.

Only 5-10% (if we are being generous) of H1B jobs are able to be offshored or made-remote. Realistically it is probably much less than that.

You're rhetoric over reality pal

contributing to the economy
Oh by stealing jobs? Lol

What will keep companies investing in America for the next 50 years if you deport their workers and make their business less profitable. Why wouldn’t they invest elsewhere?

the only way to guarantee jobs is via the government. Private companies don’t care about you

Now, you are getting into something seperate. In the short term you would have to admit for Americans thousands of new jobs would open up if H1B was sniped and foreigners sent home and this would be good.

You can make your spiel about a push for government mandated jobs over private sector reliance while still admitting my point.

Sure

Ending H1-B could open up some jobs in the short term for Americans

But it will make America less competitive in the global economy and needlessly remove law abiding and productive members of society. All of which will make America poorer.

theft of thousands jobs and university positions by foreigners from the American people = needless
nothing is being stolen, Americans are just getting outcompeted

obviously we should try to create systems to help American citizens, like work guarantees and free college

but it’s not immigrants’ fault that Americans are being outcompeted.

Wait, my current avi too spicy for you? lol

Not could, would. 500,000 minimum new jobs for us if India and China workers banned and sent back!
:ace:

Not necessary just ban Indians and Chinese H1B holders and nuke the system. Problem solved
Assuming, of course, that the economy doesn’t just contract from removing thousands of workers

Primary reasons is he is money whore and the most zionist president in history; he has followed through on very little of his promises with regards to trade, war, immigration, fighting globalism, and draining the swamp. What, really, for the right has come in his 10 year reign, beginning in 2015 that time he had first stepped off the escalator?
:kayneshrug:
Isn't he actively trying to mass kidnap immigrants as we speak
