This plan of the Trump administration can't work too well if the even the basic needs (price of goods still increasing, tariffs, housing affordability issues) for millions of people are still not being met.

But maybe all of this is just a small stepping stone to provide an opportunity for the US to plan something larger, such as creating the necessary conditions for true nationalism to take place so the U.S. can have a “strongman” leader similar to China, which has made remarkable strides in technology and its economy over the last decade despite its entire existence being the complete opposite of what the democrats of the U.S would stand for.

China is also the opposite of neoliberalism of American Conservatives if you look at their economic policies (and Foreign policy too)
