the migration to the north is always clima based and never ideology based.

back when africa started desertifying people already migrated to the north, the whole middleeast is the biggest genetic mix pool in the world. within Palestinian/israelis/persians/turks/arabs you find the biggest mix of african/asian/european/rus genetics in human evolution history.

that place is the true center of humanity, and it will always be kinda aslong as it connects 3 continental plates that are the main parts of human evolution together. since millenias that region is known as humanity's maintrading hub, and tbh that is kinda the sole reason for why wars started there and how wars continued into modern times.

my point is, migrations happened before, wars just intensified those tho. so I cut a slack there.

Bibi lost, Haredistan won
I wonder if part of the reason Israel made so many power grabs in recent years is because they realized it is probably their last chance to do so.

They had the backing of a historically stupid president in the US and given Haredi birthrates, it’s tbh only a matter of time before a significant percentage of Israeli Jews no longer wish to fight.

So if our only two options are delaying the financial crisis or intentionally manufacturing it in real time and destroying lives across the country, which one sounds more beneficial to the people who voted these assholes into office in the first place?? This is a tremendous first step which is already further than Donnie’s cronies have brought us, and I would wager that the kid can offset any long-term effects with the wealth tax; even with the cavalcade of billionaire babies pretending like they’re gonna leave their city of comfort because they actually have to pay their fair share for once, there’s plenty of possible funding sources they can utilize without cutting social services…if nothing else, this shows us that it CAN be done properly :smoothy:
You can be optimistic about it but most of the times such policies simply give short term relief before becoming a much bigger fiscal problem in future.

Personally, I prefer a long term gradual but reliable solution than a quick fix which is nothing but a patch work and doesn't even solve the problem.

Relying on aid he received, delaying pension payments and future hope that housing supply will expand and growth will sustain are just quick fixes and not a reliable way ahead
