In 2007, Roger already scored 12 GS titles while Djokovic was a 20 year old back then.
From 2010 onwards, Roger scored only 5 GS titles and he was in his prime back then.
Most of his titles come from an era before Novak and Nadal and all his loses come from Novak and Nadal.
The only lucky guy here was Roger because if he was the same age as Rafa and Nole, his score would have been far worse.

The big 3 are far better than anyone else, lol.
Not only did they score double the amount of GS trophies compared to anyone else but they did it while playing in the same era.
The level at which the 3 of them are playing would make people like Rod look like 3rd class player. It's like saying Pele was better than today's best football players. The game that Djokovic has perfected cannot be matched by anyone else. Nobody has ever played tennis at this level. Dude is almost 36 and is still King of Tennis while Roger won his last GS at that age, lol.
King of tennis my ass. He quakes in his boots everytime Stan pulls up to a slam final.

His favourite surface is hardcourt aint it?? So why does he have an abysmal 3-6 record compare to Nadal the "clay specialist" who has a 4-1 record at the US Open?

Why is he the only one out of the big 3 with a negative record at two out of the four slam finals?

Why is he the only one out of the big 3 without an olympic gold medal?

Why is he the only one out of the big 3 to get beaten by by Roger, Rafa, Andy and Stan at five finals at the US Open?

You really dont like him... :ronalaugh:

Negative record here, negative record there and is still the best of them all.
He doesnt need to be the best in every single stat you can pull outta your ass to be the GOAT.
Roger doesnt have olympic gold in singles either and considering it happens once in 4 years, it doesnt matter anyway.
You can be GOAT without Olympic gold as well.

It doesn't matter he said :kriwhat:
Sure looks like it mattered to him

He rarely cries and dude was bawling his eyes out after Del Potro spanked him. The only other time he cried iirc was when he lost to Medvedev when he was tryna match Goat Laver's CYGS feat. I am not sure how you can be considered the goat without winning an Olympic Gold. For years all we heard was Rafa couldn't be the goat due to having Zero ATP finals. Why does Novak get a pass for having zero gold at the Olympics??

It matters so much that of big 3 only Rafa got it, once. They have 64 GS titles combined and 1 olympic title. Thats how much it matters. :milaugh: Nice to have but if you aint lucky you can simply not get it, just like Roger finished his career and never got it.

It does matter and Rafa has two golds (1 singles and 1 doubles) and Roger has 1 (doubles). An Olympic gold is still an Olympic gold.

I'll say this tho, Novak does have the edge over Rafa and Roger but I am sorry what Laver did was out of this world. Saying that, if I needed a player to play for my life. I am choosing Novak :shame:

Djokovic will surpass rafa soon. At 35 he plays like he is in his early 20s.

I predict he will have around 25-26 slam before he retires.
I am honestly disappointed in the new gen ngl. Two bloody decades smh.

I feel sad when people dont count nole as goat . Even at peak nadal-fed era he won and consistently has shown better record against both of the legend.

I predict he might go up untill 26-27 before he retires if he keeps up its insane he keeps winning at 35 . Even Fed declined at his age .

Djokovic won 23rd slam at FO.
I dont think Nadal can catch up but we'll see.
The latest injury and comeback will be difficult.

They are in wrong era . Fed-rafa-nole are greatest tennis players world has ever seen its same as bulls dominating 90s era with pippens-jordan-rodman .

You can't win
What do you guys think of Alcaraz? It seems to me that he can already win all grand slams, and he came at the right time.

Roger retired, Nadal is on his way to retirement, and Nole is probably in his last years. Plus he already knows he can beat him now

So unless someone new shows up or he gets a big injury, he might end up beating records

I hope he will have some solid opponents in the futures, because for now except a end of prime Nole, I don’t see anyone capable of really challenging him.

I don’t want to jinx it but for now I don’t see what is stopping him from destroying the game for years and years in the next decade

No one in this gen medvedec, sinner ,tsitsipas, comes close
hes going to have a similar run to novak pretty soon ( the time period of federer aging and nadal battling injuries) . In a much shorter time would rack up a lot of slams. cant say he will break records just yet though cause it does take a while to get to the 20+ slam mark.

that being said
carlos is the closest I have seen to the big 3 in talent in my entire life . hes like a mix of all of them.

I think having 3 players that great at the same moment in time was an anomaly. I don’t think we will see that again any time soon.

I think he has a great potential.
Young, already great player with 2 slams in his pocket.
Novak aint gonna be around for much longer, a couple of years at most, imo.

Unless a serious competition emerges in the next decade, Alcaraz can score 30 slams.
Or even more. Big 3 have 60+ during the same time, in a span of over what, 20-ish years?
If there is nobody around that can take them away from Carlos, he will have them more than socks...

However, I dont think he is clear of Novak yet, from what I heard, Novak was far from his best yesterday.
Mental strength and long matches should still favor Novak, I was quite surprised that Carlos won in 5 sets.
Depends on how long Novak's body can maintain top level tennis, we should still see him beating Carlos.

In the end, the future looks good for the young one, he holds all the cards and we'll see if he will make the best of it.

He is awesome. At age of 20 he won both of em. If Nadal decides to coach him he has good chance to be on goat list .
