Lmao youpi >> Hisoka
What do you not get? Just because Youpi is strongest than Hisoka does not mean he can handle every aspect of Nen better than Hisoka. Youpi could've been in Zetsu for 30 days because he was close to being bankrupt. It could've happened because his transformations and explosions were wasting a ridiculous amount of aura, much like what happened to Gon. Not only that, but Youpi lacked the experience to realize there could be Nen abilities that influence the opponent's aura. If Hisoka encountered Hakoware, his chances of getting bankrupt are much lesser than Youpi. Because Hisoka has much more experience with the hax side of Nen + has much better control over his aura output.

Not everything in HxH powerscaling is about raw power. I'm not saying Hisoka is stronger than Youpi, duh. But he can handle the hax side of Nen better than Youpi, thus he can handle abilities like Whirlwind and Hakoware much better than him.

HxH powerscaling is clearly too complex for you. You're diluting it as if only raw power matters. Stick to One Piece.

What is hax in front of overwhelming power? Like boa is an insect to BM despite having better hax. Hisoka is an insect to youpi. Even with bungee added , his power and debatably speed are below youpi's.

And what can hisoka do to killua? Killua will shred hisoka to pieces.

You’re comparing two completely different series, who have completely different methods of handling combat and hax, and pretending their methods are the same. You can’t do that in powerscaling, especially when said series has combat as variable as Hunter x Hunter. BM can resist Boa’s hax because of her Haki, or completely ignore Boa’s Devil Fruit because of every other aspect of herself. In One Piece, if you’re strong enough you can completely ignore an opponent’s hax arsenal.

This doesn’t work in Hunter x Hunter. In a nutshell, NEN IS VARIABLE! If you underestimate the enemy, or incorrectly analyze the enemy’s movement or their ability, you could be DEAD! If an ability’s Conditions are fulfilled, there’s no such thing as resisting with physical strength or aura reserves. Ging can’t act like a goofball 24/7 around Nen users like Camilla, Baise or Shalnark and Illumi. Because Baise could kiss Ging to turn him into a slave, Shalnark or Illumi shoot him with a needle to turn him into a slave, and Camilla could kill him if he kills her.

Am I saying they stand a chance against Ging in other aspects of Nen battle? Absolutely not. However that small chance, along with the hax side of Nen, are why Nen masters are encouraged to work smarter, not harder. Instead of brute forcing their way through everything, they have to fight different types of enemies and brainstorm different strategies. They have to be patient, analyze, use Gyo on the eyes etc… Morel said there are multiple options to use against someone who relies on speed. That’s all Whirlwind is. All speed, and Killua has power but not enough to kill Hisoka. Like I said before Killua is physically inferior to Knuckle, who’s probably physically inferior to Hisoka. Even if Hisoka can’t outspeed Whirlwind, he can outsmart the user.

We’ve been seeing throughout the Succession War the danger of esoteric, Condition-heavy abilities. Masters like Hisoka and the Phantom Troupe are very experienced in dealing with these kind of abilities, so why would Whirlwind be such a roadblock?

Unless you’re someone as smart and experienced as Bisky or Zeno - Nen masters capable of immediately realizing an enemy doesn’t have a very hax ability - you’re better off being on-guard for weird abilities. And even then, Bisky and Zeno weren’t acting like idiots with their enemies. Not even Hisoka would be brute forcing his way through Whirlwind.

Let me spell it out for you.

Bungee Gum is gum and rubber.
Kanmuru is speed and electricity.

Gum sticks to things and hinders their movement. It's a good counter to speed.
Rubber is an excellent counter to electricity. See Luffy vs Enel for reference.

All Hisoka has to do is to use Hatsu and Ken simultaneously so there is a layer of Bungee Gum between every part of his body and the environment. If Killua tries to pierce through it, he gets stuck. If Killua tries to repeatedly hit Hisoka, he gets stuck. And Killua won't be able to stunlock Hisoka if his attacks can't get through Bungee Gum because of the rubber properties.

The moment Hisoka catches Killua, he will smash his face in. We saw how badly Killua did against Palm because of her strength. Palm is an Enhancer and used Gyo on all her punches, but you can't convince me she hits harder than a bloodlusted Hisoka. Hisoka is 3rd in the Phantom Troupe for physical strength and we've seen his capabilities.

Based on match-up alone this is not going to go Killua's way. We've seen that the best way to handle Hisoka is by having superior stats and Enhancement, advanced Emission attacks, or by engaging him through indirect environmental-type combat. You either beat him at his own game, or you avoid direct contact with him. Killua can't do either. His yo-yos might block Hisoka's Shu cards, but they can't hurt Hisoka.

Youpi is not a good indicator of anything because from a power-scaling point of view, Killua was stated to be at least 10 times objectively weaker than him. The entire point of the Youpi encounter is that in a Nen battle, being 10x stronger is not a sign that you'll be able to do anything against someone who counters you. It was Togashi providing a direct refutation of power-scaling logic in the Nen system. Which should already have been obvious after Morel's speech to Killua.

Every single one who answered Killua here wouldn't last long in the Hunter x Hunter world. At best, you'd be the Uvogins dying to the Kurapikas of that world.

You’re a blessing. I didn’t even realize that Bungee Gum is a direct counter to Killua’s electricity. But that’s another point for Hisoka fr.
