It might be, like i said before because they have a direct contact to imu-sama which is so many people thought him was from void century (800 years ago). So the theory about gorosei being immortal its possible enough.

From the way Akainu talked down to them and insulted them right to their face, I don’t think they’ll be powerhouses. They’re relatively strong but old timers. Political and military clout and experience landed them the position. I could imagine a situation where Vergo saves Doffy from prison, then they sneak their way into the elders and mid diffs them, then proceeds with whatever plan DD has in store having gotten some information out of the old geezers

Regarding to the gorosei power, the only problem might be their age. Thats why akainu can talk like that in front of them.

I think this is what Bonney is used for and why it sent Akainu "shivers down his spine". She keeps them younger or of a consistent age. Unless, they all had the life surgery performed on them by sacrificed users with the Ope Ope Fruit.

Though he went totally rouge and straight Into NWO territory with the whole waging war on the world plot line. Then with the whole purge of the fishman (that really made my blood boil, I love those fishmen) that came right out of left field. They don’t strike me as that evil tbh. The Ohara incident was for them a regrettable necessity it seemed, and they seemed fond of strengthening the ties with fishman as they didn’t like when Jimbei left as a warlord. Arthur turned them into straight up evil motherfuckers, interesting but maybe not wholly accurate, idk

Yeah, they showed some remorse during Ohara's destruction but here they simply don't give a shit about the annihilation of an entire race, i like the depiction (outside that zoan elder fruit, really doesn't fit lol) If only the real manga underwhelming revolutionaries were as good and successful as in Artur's chapter though, lol. he really nailed it with the music at the end revealing the bounty
