George already broke my heart with the Mashiba loss, and now he's going to finish me off with the pending Sendo loss. Oh and he promised his dying Grandma he'd win too. Fuck George Morikawa

Technically if his grandma dies before the fight, he doesn't have to fulfill that promise anymore.

But I mean come on, Ricardo is the goat of his category, he toyed with Miyata who wasn't very impressed with Sendo and is now completely powerless against Ricardo who is barely trying.

Sendo winning this would make no sense. I do like his mindset though, I wish Ippo had that fire inside him (he used to but he lost it).

Yeah same here, the Mashiba loss hurt because I was so sure he'd win and was looking forward to him becoming world champ. For this fight, I know we about to get 7-0'd like United at Anfield

i've actually been following Ippo since around or before i read one piece.

Back in 2010-2011
i remember when Ippo lost and retired. Then i read a bit of the second arc but stopped after Ippo beat up a random kid. tbh i forget all the details its been years since i read consistently lmao idk why
