In recent chapters, Law has shown much better control of his haki and awakening than he has in wano. In regards to haki, we saw him negating Doc Q's DF via haki, something he learned from kaido and big mom. In regards to his awakening, he can now casually use kroom, whereas in the past, simply using one shock wille was enough to exhaust him.
My question is, should we expect the same from Kid? Personally I see no reason not too. Every character grows stronger between arcs, even if their growth is off-screen.
Chances are, next time we see him, he'll be able to casually assign things and casually use attacks like damned punk. Mastery over assign will likely allow him to manipulate non-magnetic objects by making them magnetic. Furthermore, given that he is a CoC user, I could see Oda giving him ryuo and conqueror's coating. Especially if he appears further down in the series when Law and others are much stronger.
Regardless, Oda seems intent on having Kid's bounty follow Luffy's. This means his next bounty rise will likely surpass 5 billion, so expect him to be a full blown top tier the next time we see him.
