Do you think that Dracule Mihawk, the WSS, has ever been to the country famed for its samurais and the strength that they have either during his rookie days or after becoming the WSS while trying to find a real challenge ? Or did he never set a foot here ? Has he ever wanted to come here ?

I feel like he might have whilst still a pirate.

I'm still so eager to unravel his previous journeys around the world.

No way his experience in the new world lacks in my opinion.

Mihawk says "Yoru is a black blade, the finest of its kind"

Mihawk is comparing Yoru to other black blades to say this and that's not possible unless he saw Shusui even before Zoro saw it.

Shusui was in Wano since 23 years ago when it was on Thriller bark with Moria.

So unless Mihawk visited thriller bark at one point, he must have already been to Wano like before even Roger died

Or ... Yuru is an old sword ... and some one else made it black

let's see ...

Mihawk can't be on Wano before 20 years ago ...

and in last 20 years Kaido was ruling there with Iron fist

would he allow Mihawk entire his land , fight many people , and he be like : "oh yea , I'm gonna let that happen"

unless mihawk went to Wano like Ace where he didn't let many people know about him
unless Mihawk went to Wano when Kaido wasn't around

the statement don't make sense


and tbh , Mihawk fearing Kaido to a level he entire Wano like a chicken won't make sense
sure Kaido would beat his ass
but Mihawk is not a type of person who fear any one


so ... NO

I be fine with that too as well ...

at least it show us how he got his title ... and it make sense for plot more than anything ...

I'm kinda sure Mihawk title is 100% related to his sword

- either who ever create a Black Blade can be King of swords
- or who ever carry the black blade Yuru is the King of swords


giving a lore to Yuru is a nice thing ... if Oda ever care to explain

That would be cool. Mihawk's title is ralated to his sword, just like Shanks' title being related to polishing the Goroseis' swords
