Current Events Honest Question: Why don't people actually want a real 1v1 fight for Zoro?

I can see what you are doing here. I just think the other way. Maybe it's my stupid trust that Oda will finally do something differently.

I don't see Luffy beating Kaido 1 vs 1. Luffy just gets few chapters of his cool 1 vs 1 moment and back to reality.

Law heals Zoro and himself and they go back to the roof.

I like King but he's just written like a lame fuck. Literally zero fun from him and zero profits for dudes like Zoro and Law.

We'll see what happens, guess that's really all there is to it

And zoro will NOT be out for 15 chapters... The scabbards returned in 8 chapters after they were defeated...

Momo is approaching the performance hall with Yamato last we saw them.

And the Scabbards were far less hurt than Zoro was and they’re still not at their full strength.

Zoro's purpose in the crew is to get Luffy back to reality when it's the time.

This situation is definitely one.

Zoro and Law go under the roof to heal and shit. Luffy gets his funny 1 vs 1 moments and back to reality of the teamfight.

If King has an ability that Rivals Phoenix regeneration or Future Sight, why wouldn't he be a threat?

Because bandages get everyone into fighting shape

Chopper’s bandages even returned some of the organs Luffy lost to Katakuri... Bandages are OP... And Law is BETTER than Bandages

Lot of people are so obsessed over forum banter and power levels that they can't even enjoy something aesthetically pleasing even if it involves their favourite character because it would make it harder to run with certain narratives already built. For example i as a reader know Luffy is immortal until EoS. Luffy will not die no matter what. But characters in the story do not know that.

I kinda would like this now just because it’d be a badass character moment where Zoro and Hiyori together slice down Orochis last head.

This would be more of a character moment for Zoro and less of a fight. It would involve Yasuie, Hiyoris wish of defeating Orochi herself, and Zoro getting his vengeance on Orochi
