Personally I would have loved a 1 vs 1 fight between Zoro and a wicked samurai (like Kyoshiro). King has never impressed me very much.

I wished that was Orochi but probably Oda said "I don't want to craft the stereotype of the classic fear inducing samurai in armor, let's make something special" and here we are.

Marco and Chopper look factually busy right now. Law on the other hand could potentially help, but I bet Chopper to be possibly way more capable, too bad he is busy. Marco would possibly be the best opportunity if he frees himself, due his DF fast healing consistency.

Base Luffy is already confirmed that he can knock Kaido down,

while Asura Zoro can't.

There's way too much importance being put into knocking Kaido down instead of seriously injury him. Luffy has been knocking Kyle down since he first fought Kaido at the beginning of Wano up until now it hasn't done any significant injury.



When Zoro attacked Hybrid Kaido with his asura mode attack it cut Kaido and created a new scar. He acknowledged the strength of the attack a let us know it created a new scar even though it didn't knock him down.
