Questions & Mysteries How Big Mom will fall/Oda's recipe for durable people: Weaken internals, KO externally

#81
Ever since Dressrosa, we saw a formula Oda has been applying over and over for people with high endurance/durability.

Assist (Targets Internals) = Concentrated STOMACH Attack
Finish (Strike) = External FULLBODY Attack

Doflamingo

Ulti

Sasaki. (Here he essentially did 2 of those strikes)

With Kaido we had plenty of internal attacks (Gamma Knife, Counter Shock, Sonic Scythe, etc...) + external attacks (Takt, Kid's attacks). Luffy can do both.

BUT for Big Mom, I think the same formula will apply.

Law will attack her INTERNALLY in the stomach, and nerf her.

Kid will CRUSH her EXTERNALLY to finish her off

This post aged very well. The OP deserves a round of applause.

Well, obviously but it would do insane damage. Put anyone in KKG’s way and he getting fucked real bad if not defeated.
That attack is probably going to remove a good portion of Kaido's health right now I bet. It would not be that bad if Luffy used it, conversely.

The issue is that Luffy restrict himself too much when it comes to choosing attacks. Even G4 bound man hasn’t been used after gaining AdvCoC which if he doesn’t use it would result in devastating AP and damage on Kaido, but he is treating it as the ace up his sleeve in the final round and preferred to stay in base form although it’s holding up decently.

I imagine he will have material time to activate G4 if Kaido is not granted enough time to blitz, at that point Luffy should consider finding a strategy to avoid Kaido to circumvent KKG which is not exactly an extremely fast attack, he should rely on it whilst his opponent is experiencing a turmoil. 🤔

We shouldn’t really worry about KKG landing. When the time comes it will land.

Btw, they did exactly this, this chapter(1030), but there's no way BM is down yet.

I expect the final attacks to be the same too. (not same moves but same formula)
Gamma Knife or the new technique of Law?

The new technique of Law seems that he burns or electros the organs while Gamma Knife cuts them. Both are dangerous, yet I see Gamma Knife more powerful.

The difference is that KKG is a straight punch, while Kid is using magnetic pressure force to try and crush the internal organs.
Maybe KKG (no haki ups) didn't work as effectively as the Kid's attacks.
Still KKG has more destruction power than Kidds attack. I dont think "crush internal organs" is what he want s to do, he just wants to crush her.

I think it would be kinda ass for Oda to set up an alliance between kaido and big mom, have big mom be an antagonist 2 arcs in a row, have Kid and Law(rivals of Luffy) face off against big mom, then make Kid and Law lose so that Luffy can return to WCI and face off against big mom yet again after already defeating a guy stated to be stronger than her.

Luffy doesn't need to do everything. He's probably stronger than her anyways at this point, so why not let Kid and Law get one good moment.
Yeah, people always take words as how things should be and the manga has already proven wrong. Everthing can change. But I dont see Luffy stronger than Big Mom still, he might now be on that tier, but he still needs to sharp his abilities.

KKG is indeed strong, but dudes with great endurance and durability can tank them, I mean, they will be very beaten, but the way Luffy showed the technique, hinted that Doflamingo could tank it and keep fighting if he didnt had all the damage he had before.

So Admirals will be able to endure that hit, even though it will weakened very much.

The guy who predicted this was very smart.Congrats:cheers:
Doffy was basically a test for the Yonko.

Luffy will probably do King Kong Bazooka(both arms will be inflated with G3) with Advanced COC.

Yeah same for Law.

They will probably stall her until they get help from outside.
No way.Kidd needs to KO BM,otherwise all the hype about him being Luffy's rival is fake.

I see Doflamingo and Katakuri as pre-Yonko and pre-Admiral type of fighters.

One is about throwing the kitchen sink at them with a bunch of attacks, and the other is more about logia/shape shifting trickiness.

Luffy is definitely gonna bust out Snakeman against Admirals more often.

damn this thread is cool

to remind.

this only exemplifies and highlights the fact that to be higher levels (in case anyone had any doubt) the ACOC is neither essential nor sufficient, an awakened fruit or different enhanced abilities can hurt a higher level or vice versa.

It's interesting. Outside of Blackbeard, all remaining antagonists in One Piece seem pretty slim built. I'd assume they'll be some of the most durable people people the series (i.e. being able to handle Luffy's punches), but it'll be interesting to see how well they take those his vs Kaido.

Granted, Kaido is being hit justifiably the same way as most other villains in the series now, now that Luffy can attack him internally and externally with AdCoC. Im just interested to see how the remaining 3-5 fights go for Luffy.

Also great prediction @sanjikun
