Base Luffy is 1 v 1 Hybrid Kaido so it would have been extremely easy for Whitebeard to attack Kaido.

Luffy is different since his crew is small in comparison to other crew and he does not need to plunder to feed his crew also Luffy's journey has not lasted for more than a year and they get most of their resources from the nations they save. Ace was a pirate and he deserved to die.

I don't think he is far above Kaido. Where did I say that? Yeah I said he would have lost a few men, among the ones that matter, not going to count the fodders.
But his top commanders would have beaten the calamities and he would have beaten Kaido had he been in his prime.
I don't think he was, that's why he didn't go. In the end it's the captain that makes the difference, if he loses, his crew also does.

And even Luffy himself told you the Pirateking is stronger than Kaido and BM. "I will surpass you and become the Pirateking"

Finally Laido has been crying for 2 decades because of Roger's and WB's common subordinate : ODEN.

Roger/WB > Old WB > Yonko/Oden.

kaido will inevitably look less impressive than much of the fandom thought he was at the start of this arc and people will truly grasp how strong roger and by proxy wb had to be as pk level characters
