I will give my method after a couple of people answer first.

My Method Plain:
  • Rinse & Strain 4x
  • Add Water and/or Broth - Finger Technique - the first line of your index finger
  • Rice Cooker - Stove Top bring water to a boil then lower to med/low for 5-7 mins
  • Sprucing it up I'll add a couple cloves of garlic, onion and veggie scraps and a homemade chicken bouillon, s&p

put enough water in a kitchen pot and heat/boil it, then add the rice lol
while it's cooking add whatever spices you want on it and a tiny bit of oil so the rice does not stick
cook until its soft/all water is gone

some people quick wash the rice before adding it to the pot of water to sweep away any preservatives

I don’t eat white rice, it has a high glycemic index and gets stored as fat really easily.
meh, it's not as high as people tend to make it out especially if you're using parboiled rice then washing it removing the starch before cooking.

Overall it also has to do with your normal diet.

who the :memehm: uses oil when cooking rice
depends on what rice dish i am cooking but for white rice never really, sometimes if I cook it on the stove

Hope this helps, I suggest the safest and fastest way.
Put seatbelt on.
Drive your car slowly, no need to rush.
Head to the nearest KFC drive thru to order rice with chicken.
Rice is ready to eat 👌🏻
