I started with the Anime in 2013ish, on Adult Swim I think. Then I binged the Manga shortly after.

I was interested in the series as it was part of the "Big 3" (OP, Naruto, Bleach) I liked the sheer wackiness of OP, combined with the adventure and occasional darkness.

Thankfully, I bypassed the shitty 4kids version or I never would have become interested.
