I don't think Zoro will fight Mihawk and defeat him to become the wss. So how can Zoro be recognized as the wss when he becomes the world strongest swordsman.

Its interesting because Zoro himself says Mihawk is strongest swordsman because Mihawk cuts giant ships, but then he believes he can be strongest swordsman by beating Mihawk. There are two routes I guess, it looks like Zoro wanted the short cut, because he couldn't cut ship with his current level but he still believed he can be strongest swordsman with his current weak level in East Blue.

At no point did Zoro or Mihawk imply they don’t wanna fight each other anymore because of their student/master relationship. If anything, it adds weight to their eventual confrontation.

I also agree Zoro vs mihawk won't happen. Zoro is too emotional guy like Luffy, no way he is going to cut the guy who helped him. I think Mihawk know Zoro’s heart, so this is a good way to avoid fighting Zoro, since Zoro will be emotional.

Look at Luffy vs Fujitora, Luffy couldn't even fight at full power because he likes Fujitora. How can he even fight Shanks, if he can't even fight Fujitora and how Zoro can fight Mihawk, who trained him for 2 years? This is the guy who doesn’t want to cut naked men and doesn't want to cut women. Zoro vs. Mihawk won't happen for Zoro being too emotional.
