My heart aches seeing how bad threads and posts of zoro and mihawk downplayers are these days smh

Maybe zoro and Mihawk are so good that they have to resort to BS headcannon to even attempt any downplay 🤣🤣

OT - Zoro will fight Mihawk to become WSS.

Thinking otherwise is like imagining Luffy to become PK by defeating Akainu 😑

I also agree Zoro vs mihawk won't happen. Zoro is too emotional guy like Luffy, no way he is going to cut the guy who helped him. I think Mihawk know Zoro’s heart, so this is a good way to avoid fighting Zoro, since Zoro will be emotional.

Look at Luffy vs Fujitora, Luffy couldn't even fight at full power because he likes Fujitora. How can he even fight Shanks, if he can't even fight Fujitora and how Zoro can fight Mihawk, who trained him for 2 years? This is the guy who doesn’t want to cut naked men and doesn't want to cut women. Zoro vs. Mihawk won't happen for Zoro being too emotional.
When have Mihawk and Zoro ever had that relationship

Its interesting because Zoro himself says Mihawk is strongest swordsman because Mihawk cuts giant ships, bu
This isn’t true. You’re fuckin liar. Zoro didn’t say Mihawk was WSS because he cut a ship. Zoro knew Mihawk was WSS BEFORE Mihawk reached Baratie

but they act like they never said anything about King
@Erkan12
Do you want me to show you the posts I made of Zoro vs both King and Kaido from over two years ago?

Imo
By beating the 3 best renowned swordsmen

But I know Oda will only make him beat Mihawk

But if I was a writer, I would make him clash with Vista and Shanks too

Because I do not believe in (one win makes u the best) in out life, but it is probably what Oda think

I just feel Zoro's dream is too great to be done through one match to settle it!

There is a term swordsmen use called "unrivaled"
As Miyamoto Musashi was someone who seeked that to be considered the best by battling the best through all his journey!

people like him kept wandering until there is no possible opponent and thus came the term "unrivaled"

And actually this is what Mihawk is supposed to be doing when he was first introduced on small boat wandering looking for someone to wake him up from his nap

Anyway, think of it as the greatest football team or basket ball team getting beaten in a game by a smaller team....
Would that small team become greater?
No
It's by winning the whole season and consistent performance with other teams they rise to the top

I personally feel Zoro deserves more than just one single opponent to beat!

I don't care how Shanks fans feel about this but Zoro is more important character than him in my book, and it's a shame Vista is a good guy, makes it hard for Zoro to battle him

Oda should reduce the amount of good guys in story Lol

Isn’t every single swordsman Zoro has fought counted here?

like if Zoro lost to everyone from Cabaji to whoever and then pulled out a random ass win against Mihawk, would you count that?

no, because Oda knew what he was doing when he said Zoro will never lose again. By making sure that Every sword fight Zoro gets into Zoro MUST WIN, it creates a sense of progression in the fact that every single sword fight is important towards his goal since Zoro said so.

Oda goes out of his way to ensure this. Like in Water seven Zoro fights Kaku in Iceberg’s house and he specifically DOES NOT LOSE. It’s Very evident that the strawhats are supposed to lose in that situation and instead of Having Zoro lose to kaku there and then, Oda has Lucci toss Zoro out of the building

Oda takes great care to make sure Zoro will never lose a sword fight again because to Zoro, winning every single sword fight is in fact a step towards his goal

There is only one WSS and that’s why Zoro only has to beat Mihawk. If there were multiple people as strong as mihawk then that would mean there could be multiple people as strong as Zoro too. Even if Zoro beats all those people you suggest, the fact that Multiple people were as strong as mihawk, it means Zoro himself having the title of WSS no longer means he’s definitively the strongest since the title never meant Mihawk was

I get your point
But not a single opponent he faught holds a candle in swordsmanship to Vista or Shanks for example! Who are both renowned yet Oda probably will just never let Zoro clash with them

A cool scenario imo would be... Vista hates Usopp's dad too much (according to SBS) that he fucks Usopp when he sees him just to get on Yassop nerves, but Zoro actually decides to fold his ass instead because he's a swordsman and for Usopp
