I have my PFP for a reason, its to reiterate the fact that Shanks reacts to Luffy in an antagonistic way, not as an ally (unless you think that face means he just wants to congratulate him lol). The dude decided to attack his fleet members, why are we still denying this?

Because we literally never saw or heard of shanks attacking Barto… for all we know Shanks saw Barto was one of Luffys men and just left him with a warning then went to go get drunk in Elbaf seeing how shanks left Wano not long before kid, went to drop off Marco then make it to Elbaf

I can use it because all we have his intended dialogue lol.

We cant assume anything has happened yet because Oda never said he found or encountered him. The dude was at Elbaf already before Kid arrived. How would he have found Barto that fast?

We can’t; but judging by Shanks’ ideals and character so far, there’s no reason for he and Luffy to fight and any fight they share will have no stakes.

However, we know Shanks is actively hunting a character who’s regularly set up as one of Luffys greatest enemies and has been for 2 years.

Shanks vs Blackbeard is a much safer bet than Shanks vs Luffy. It’s about as likely as Linlin vs Luffy Imo

Like I said, believe what you want. In my opinion though, one instance doesnt negate the other. They will all fight at the same time. Thats the vibe ive gotten from years about this.

In my opinion, there is no feasible way Blackbeard offscreens (and you know there is no way Oda will dedicate enough chapters to show us this....) Shanks' entire ship and keeps him hostage lol. Shanks isnt Ace 2.0, the dude scared Akainu in person and an Admiral without even being present.

Severe underestimation here I think

Current Blackbeard definitely not. But I would not bet on Shanks over 3 fruit Blackbeard.

Luffy did not win because his haki was greater; he won because of his fruit awakenings. Just because someone’s haki is stronger never guarantees a win. We’ve seen that literally countless times in the manga.

Yes, haki is a good weapon here, but Kaido was beat because Luffy was able to awaken his fruit. The combined might of Luffys haki and Luffys fruit is what allowed Luffy to finish Kaido.

Please tell me why you think stronger haki = Stronger fighter when we’re shown that’s not always true
