Wano:
- Remove Kawamatsu and Kiku. There are only 7 scabbards (Kurosawa docet).
- Less Samurai glazing, showing also the nasty and cruel ones.
- Yamato is still here, but her Oden’s obsession, is more an obsession of what Oden represents at her eyes. She has been living in such an isolation that she didn’t even develop a word to say “free”, which for her became “Oden”.
- Orochi rather than cruel and coward, is a strong and ruthless samurai, he was Oden’s “Vegeta”, the second strongest samurai in Wano but always one step below his rival, he has always been envious and obsessed by Oden, especially because he secretly envy him for being so free-spirited. Contrary to Oden he has an isolationist philosophy and in his own twisted way he believes he’s doing what he’s doing for the “greater good”.
- Yamato beats Orochi after a tough fight, shouting “I am Oden” (which to her means I am free) while delivering the last blow in front of Momonosuke’s teary eyes.
- Yamato actually joins the crew.
- No Big mom and Big mom pirates.
- Numbers are actually strong.
- No gear 5th, Luffy’s power up in this arc are advanced COA and COO
- Sanji vs Queen is longer and the latter show more of his arsenal.
- Zoro vs King is slightly longer.
- Kaido (together with King) is a failed hero kind of character, he is depressed because years ago he has discovered that he’s not Joyboy, from that moment he lost any self-esteem and hope to liberate the world from the current system and he became depressed and a heavy drinker to cope. The suicidal thing is a megalomaniac act that gives him the thrill of thinking himself invincible. He seeks a grandiose death but deep down he knows that he’s not worthy of it. Moreover, when the possibility of death approaches he actually feels fear, more than death what scares him, is the thought that if he dies in that moment his life would have amounted to nothing, therefore he plans a Great War that will destroy the WG, and in which he will be able to die proudly.
He contrasts Luffy as he, instead, despite being far weaker unities people, brings peace rather than war wherever he goes and is actually ready to die at any moment for his dream.
- Final fight is Luffy, Kid, Law vs Kaido. Kid and Law display here their awakening. Luffy unlock COC coating but Kaido wins round one. Zoro beats King before as it happened in the manga. Then he takes the after that medication to fight Kaido, Kaido has come down and is decimating the allies forces, killing everyone on his path (Kin’emon, Izo and Ashura die by his hands in a single brutal heartbreaking chapter), confrontation with Yamato and then he KOs her, Zoro then reaches Kaido, despite being completely overwhelmed he holds him a couple of minutes and hits him with ashura, Kid and Law arrives, they use their strongest awakening moves severely damaging Kaido, but then they fall out of exhaustion and Kaido stands up again in front of them, they’re In disbelief, and they losing any hope they accept death. It is THEN that Luffy comes, grabbing him from the roof with G3 and the final round starts. The Skysplit happens, and after a long, exhausting, extremely bloody fight Luffy’s wins, while Momo brings Onigashima to safety, he has now become a “great pirate”.
- At the end of the arc Jack, Ulti and P1 joins Kid pirates and Drake, WW and Black Maria joins Law.
- Luffy has a 3 billion bounty. Kid and Law 2 billion each.
- At the end of the arc Ryokugyu comes and Luffy fights him on an even ground. Then he proclaims Wano his territory in front of him, and as everyone unleash their weapon at the same time he says something like “if you want to fight further, then it will be war!”, and THEN Ryokugyu decides to retire (not that Shanks promotional film bullshit).
Here just some, it ain’t much, but one would need a lot of perfume to cover the stench of that Zunisha sized shit of an arc.
