Controversial I have a Confession...

I am not reading a manga that does not have physical english version. I hate online reading so I own physical version of each comic / manga I really like. Reading 1 chapter per week is OK but entire volume it's no fun to me . Also noticed how I don't remember much of the story when I read it online .

So manga without physical release in English is a big no .

I am regular readers of Kingdom I would say apple to orange .

I personally think Kingdom is too serious and plot involves complex battle strategy . To be fair I find it boring at times when Hara makes it too complicated . I definitely think it’s underrated and it requires serious readers to sit down and read .
One piece isn’t that complex plot is repeated but there is more freedom other than constant fights . I personally would prefer OP over Kingdom because of less complexity not because of plot . I can easily follow One piece . Kingdom unfortunately requires dedicated time .

@Owl Ki Look at this horse and tell me with a straight face that this is good art.
Aye the anatomy of that particular horse is a bit off right enough. To be honest, I don't think equine anatomy is Hara's strong point in general.

A lot of people's choice panels from Kingdom usually involve physical clashes, aura moments or sweeping landscape shots. They involve humans or environments. Horses aren't where it is at.

Lmfao, it's every horse in Kingdom, and this particular horse looks like the thing of nightmares, not only anatomy wise. Looks like a human horse hybrid, and that is Hara trying his best cause it's a chapter cover art :vistalaugh:

Aside from anatomy which Owl Ki already touched on, Hara is terrible at shading, he shades like I used to back in Grade 2 just a bunch of random thick lines everywhere. This is the mark of a weak artist, Isayama was notoriously bad here too, it's why their art looks amateur in a similar way, lacks the sense of speed during movement, and side profiles are especially bad cause they're not great at drawing dimensions. He has no idea of the concept of shadows, it's an eyesore.

Sometimes he cooks though cause he does have a lot of detail when it comes to foliage, landscapes, fabrics, and armour.
