Tbf Togashi is vastly superior to Hara as an artist, when he tries atleast. Hara is just not naturally good at drawing, he puts in a lot of detail and effort though, have to respect it.

Bro on average Kingdom is the best manga by art. On average no other mangaka will ever achieve the quality at the pace Hara does. Miura in his prime took 6 months to release a single chapter, Murata takes 1-2 months as well and releases half-chapters to boot.

Hara is the UNDISPUTED GOAT in terms of the average, none of these other try hards can even come close to what Hara does week by week. Not in a million years. Miura himself could never achieve this on a week to week basis. Hara cannot be touched by any other mangaka in this regard.

The art in kingdom is fantastic specially fighting scenes the level of detail from the author you can tell he puts in incredible effort
You would normally expect this from monthly manga not weekly

Besides that, shots like this where a bloke and his horse appear colossal are more artistic representations of the crushing aura such characters emit rather than their actual size in my opinion.

I honestly don't know lol. I watched HxH anime first then binge the manga a few years ago, I started the manga right after the anime ended.

But if you want my honest opinion, Togashi probably didn't even try on weekly lol (scribbles). Those detailed panels in HxH probably took him a good minute to do.

It’s crazy how hara does this and doesn’t lose passion for his manga like oda or togashi. There genuinely isn’t a more dedicated mangaka than him

Back when he did Hunter x Hunter weekly, his art was really bad, he would always redraw his art for the volume release.

Now that Togashi doesn't have to do weekly anymore, and that he can actually take his time on his work without being rushed, his current art is definitely more better compared to before.
