General & Others I thought Luffy was going to 1v1 Kaido what happened?

Luffy will, at some point, beat Kaido in a “1 vs 1.” That’ll be after all the other fights are done, it’ll be the big finale, that’s where we’ll see Luffy use a new transformation and Kaido show everything he has.
But before that, we’ll also be aware that it’s taken a hell of a lot of other characters (the Worst Gen, the Scabbards, probably Yamato) to weaken Kaido enough that Luffy can “1 vs 1” him.
And then for ZKK, the question is what if beating Kaido in a fight- which Luffy will do- is simply not enough? Like Kaido said this chapter, like the Scabbards said back on the rooftop, like Oden said 20 years ago, what if this is a fight that will not end until either Kaido or Luffy is dead?
