Oda realized how much bullshit was Luffy winning now. But he just failled as always and made with more bullshit. So literally Luffy and Zoro are the ones who can do some real damage to Kaido and they are pretty much done for a while.

ironically after every chap and every cliffhanger i get the "the show's just starting" vibes from how oda writes thing.. ofc all of this was pre-planned and luffy and zoro aren't the only one's capable of damaging kaido real bad, wait for Yamato to take over and sanji and Jimbe to wrap their fight s with Tobiroppos...

each one of them have something to spare that would make Kaido whine in agony
