Questions & Mysteries If anybody can confirm these are real or not, we still dont know how Shanks fights

And? As I said, maybe he defeated some big shot and retrieve it as a trophy (maybe even some Rocks member, old Yonko...).
Just stop ... the number of head cannons and disingenuous statements are through the roof Shanks is swordsman through and through.

No fan fiction is going to change that.

His Captain was a swordsman who fought with a cutlass.
Rayleigh was a swordsman who fought with a Straight sword.
Oden fought with 2 Katanas.

Shanks fights with a Rapier since he's been a child unless you can provide the evidence we need to go with what's been shown.

How is this copium? Roger was likely the greatest haki user in his time and he was not called the greatest swordsman
We actually don't know what Roger was called prior to obtaining OP he mentions his name was changed to "Gold Roger" so he was Gol D. Roger before one piece we don't know the epithet before that.

Yet never won against WB aka WSM and WSP.
Another copium.
No, pretending Mihawk has better Haki than Shanks is copium.

If you're constantly even with the Strongest Man in the world and you also brought the world to its knees with just haki, what does that make you?

Or you know he was just always called Gol D Roger. The government tried to hide his D initial.

Pointless to generate headcannon that he had some mysterious title in the past. Speak of cannon material, not headcannon.

Sure oda hyped up mihawk’s sword skills through a non-swordsman
That comparison makes a lot of sense when you realize a lot of strong people don't stick to particular style of combat and shanks is a very noteworthy person who uses a sword.

I would not reduce big mom to a swordsman just cause she carries a sword, clearly more versatile.
I would not reduce Kizaru to one cause he has a light sword.
king the wildfire certainly didn't want to be reduced to one either.
ask yourself why strength wasn't used there which would have put this argument to bed but some vague term called sword skills was used instead. ask yourself why the author would say we know he uses a sword but how exactly does he fight?

what would be his point in insinuating that, should be obvious no ?how he fights with a sword?
so until he has, it will be argued because shanks simply is the better portrayed character of the two.

the chapter that talked specifically about sword skills?
lol

you continue to believe that ,
its a clear grey area by the author that he doesn't want to expand on .
Also the ceiling thing when Kaido was thinkin of the fighters who are the shit and can harm him. There was Shanks but Mihawk was nowhere to be seen. Clearly Oda wants to maintain ambiguity for some reason.
