You can only claim Mihawk is stronger than those who want the title and participating in its contest and the guys he already beat.

Ngl I just don't think it's a black blade.
Not that he even needs it to be a low top tier, still has a busted awakened Logia, ACoA (scaling off the original trio of Admirals), and Observation (not sure if he has FS though).
I do think that he will be the "Armament specialist" of the new trio, as Issho and Kizaru seem to be the Observation specialists.

Admirals are everything specialists, kuzan already showed ACoC and ever since marineford we know he is the weakest out of OG trio so we can only wait until kizaru and akainu display their haki.

GB has a black blade as much as Raizo, is he even stronger than Raizo without his DF? We'll never know but he sure as well couldn't beat a vet level character with only haki and his "blade".
The strongest swordsman in the Marines is Fujitora, Kizaru comes second.

To me the people who think Ryokugyu stole his black blade is almost like believing that Imu is wearing contacts and doesn't actually have Mihawk’s eyes or some shit lol.

2. It will not make black blades less special as it means only top tiers have it.
3. It will obviously elevate Ryokugyu. Meaning he has peak swordsmanship plus a logia fruit.

The only person it undermines is Fujitora

Obviously I’m not a sword fan but here is my honest opinion on one of these questions:



I actually think that the more black blade users we meet, the more special Mihawk is. If Mihawk is the only black blade weilder in the world, then to an extent that makes him less special because it’s almost like no one else really cares about the WSS title or top tier swordsmanship in general. Which is a common criticism of Zoro’s character arc.

But introducing other black blade weidlers like Ryokugyu and potentially EOS Shiryu makes Mihawk seem even more impressive, because it actually makes it seem like there’s actual competition for the WSS status instead of Mihawk simply having the title by default which is how it seems now.

Disagree, we've seen several top tier swordsmen:

• Roger
• Rocks
• Rayleigh
• Shanks
• Issho
• Oden
• Borsalino(?)
• Linlin(?)
• Nasujuro

None of them have black blades, which is to Mihawk's credit as it shows that his prowess with the sword exceeds all of them.

It’s mostly problematic for those who use Mihawk’s black blade to wank him above Roger/Primebeard because Aramaki ain’t even the strongest guy in the marine.

Yeah, it debunks claims that swordsmen with Black Blade > all swordsmen without Black Blades.

So Mihawk and Ryuma are not automatically above Nasujuro, Roger, Rocks, Rayleigh or Oden just by virtue of having Black Blades.
