Future Events If Blackbeard defeats the World Government, then what is the role of the revolutionaries?

Funny how Teach is picking fights with everyone. Other pirates, marines, WG, Revos.

I'd say Luffy only just pick fights with other pirates. Like true wars. Even at Ennies Lobby he only wanted to save Robin nothing else. And right now he just wants to escape with Vegapunk.
Go big or go home

Sort of related but really want to know what Elbaf will be about. After Egghead, presumably an Admiral and Gorosei will be taken out of the story. Will Elbaf be its own thing or an escalated result of Egghead's events?

Like whats happening here, one would assume Akainu is the next main enemy. You "could" make the same justification for Imu there, but the issue with that is his backstory rides on the Void Century, which obviously wont be shown in Elbaf, so no idea there.

Honestly between Akainu, Imu, Shanks and Blackbeard, I have no idea how Oda will resolve them or where geographically, even when you assume all thats left is Elbaf, Lodestar and Laugh Tale at this time (unless we go back to Mariejoa)
That's what makes it more exciting because no one is certain how things will be resolved.

We have two contenders for FV - BB and WG - both has ties with MC, other important characters and void century. And, as of now, it's unclear who is going down first.

But if I have to guess then a lot depends on what happened during void century.

People who thinks BB will fall early because xebec failed don't understand that it's not about Xebec but what happened 800 years ago

BB could be FV if his ancestor was the one who backstabbed Joyboy 800 years ago to side with WG causing downfall of Ancient kingdom

The big 3 at the start of the series have a role to fullfil. I doubt Oda would handle Dragon as bad as he did with Garp in Hachinosu etc etc.

Blackbeard and luffy represent the two sides of the main theme of one piece; freedom.

Luffys side of freedom is a happy liberated world without oppression.

blackbeard represents the dark side of freedom, the anarchy and hedonistic ideologies

Bruh

BB doesn't need to take down WG on his own.

Why will he take that risk? He will let SHs and RA take the fight to the WG and will get to the throne when situation warrants.

With him getting atleast one Ancient weapon and copy of Saturn, BB is right there along with WG and Luffy now.

And, with caribou, he is guaranteed to get atleast one AW because otherwise this plots becomes redundant so BB is getting set as FV...
The problem is, BB is aiming for op too. He got the pone rubbings from Law, and Pudding. So he's an active participant in the op race. Right behind luffy.

So i don't think he's just gonna drop out of the op race and bide his time.

That's why i think the BBP vs SHP fight will be at or right before Raftel.

Ancient weapons could come in to play during that too.

Maybe he kidnaps Shirahoshi and threatens the SHP with killing her. And that sparks the fight. Or maybe he takes wano and yamatoe/momo and does the same with pluton.

All in all, i still don't think he's the final villain. :kayneshrug:

Blackbeard will be part of the reason for their downfall, Revs, Straw Hats will do another part, Cross Guild indirectly too with their bounty system on the marines

elbaf even more than wano is a country the navy cannot invade. its just too protected. invading elbaf means that the final war happens, because it would require basically all of their conventional manpower plus more

My honest question then is if an entire Marine Force (3 Admirals, Zodiacs, hundreds of ships) cant invade Elbaf, then what could that arc possibly even be about lol? Shanks left the island, and Blackbeards goals clearly lie elsewhere.

Thats not to say i believe Akainu "needs" to be next (I think there will be multiple endgame antagonists), but i just have no idea what Elbaf could be centralized on outside of hypothetical villains that dont yet exist.

Edit: And the main reason I doubt a hypothetical villain (Elbaf himself if he exists, Burned Scar Man, etc) is that Egghead is already serving as a taster for the endgame.

- An Admiral and Gorosei are central to the arc
- Both Blackbeard and Shanks have made big moves during said arc
- Revolutionaries are also mobilizing, as is Akainu and his Marines

It just would feel super off course to dedicate 50-100+ chapters at Elbaf if it is NOT tied to any one of these things.

An oppressive government replaced by malicious pirates as rulers.
Gee golly, I really wonder if the revos will disband.

Nothing like this will happen anyways.
