I agree about Koby, but one can argue Oda designed King to be discardable, partly as a plot device (the Lunarians) and partly as a contrast to Zoro. Because King was completely subservient to Kaido, even if Kaido deviated from his idea of Joyboy, whereas Zoro also has his own dream and would probably not support Luffy, if he disagreed with Luffy's way or goal.

As Levi said he's the future leader of the Marines so he's a lock for it

But the latest chapter adds fuel to the fire by making it a necessity for most endgame opponents

Unless people think Coby is gonna sit around twiddling his thumbs he'll need it if he's gonna fight a Holy Knight or member of the Gorosei

But if you think he'll get a different match up or won't do anything at all then the latest chapter changes nothing for you

This is a strong advanced form of Armament Haki. Impressive but he aint beating the strongest Vice Admirals with this. And i dont see him EOS becoming a Admiral... we would need a huge Time Jump after Luffy became King of Pirates to see Coby beeing a Admiral but idk if Oda is even gonna do that. And not every Admiral needs to have CoC or Top Tier in general
