Would people also assume that "the Red Hair Pirates ganged up on Kidd"? Because apparently Shanks having a powerful crew means that Shanks doesn't fight his own battles. Shanks is always seen with his crew, so it means he fights with his crew. Right?

The reality:
  • clashed with Whitebeard (on meds) 1 on 1 while everyone else left the ship
  • Kaido put Shanks on the same pedestal as Roger, Whitebeard, Xebec and Oden, no mention of his crew, implying he and Kaido clashed 1 on 1 in the pre TS scuffle, leading to Kaido's judgement
  • Took charge when Kidd was charging up his attack, going solo against not only Kidd but his entire crew, before having the Giants clean up the remains.
  • Giants pointing out of Shanks defeated Loki and brought him to Elbaf, with Loki's fury being aimed specifically at Shanks, not the "Red Hair Pirates"
People coped themselves into believing that Shanks only gangs up on people with his crew, when he has the exceptional track record of doing things solo, including against top tiers, and being the only living guy praised by the embodiment of might and strongest creature, Yonkou Kaido for his strength. Someone who takes huge pride in strength.

I only got one question - If Shanks clashed with Kaido who clashed with King?
The moon to Shanks' sun or the entire remaining members of RHPs besides Shanks?
Either way, entire crew showed up to stop King and Kaido, not just Shanks. :myman:

Shanks always pulls up with his crew. Even against the Kidd pirates he took out Kidd and Killer while Dory and Brogy took out the rest. He's not a solo mover. Kidd forced him to take action fast, him moving first like that was not even what he was going for.

Shanks didn´t bring his crew to Whitebeards ship because he came for diplomacy, not to fight Whitebeard. Whitebeard was the one who attacked him, and let´s be honest, neither party was really interested in war or anything, just showing off

It's time to debunk one more idiocy of these retards, at MF Sengoku clearly said he agreed on his terms and immediately stopped the war by saying It's You, Akagami not coz of his crew or other shitty reasons especially the one with which these retards comes up with that Shanks is working with WG/elders that's why Sengoku accepted his terms.

So PreTS Shanks has the feat and portrayal in the series by stopping whole marine force with just his appearance.

That's even worse, that means Sengoku is listening because Shanks has ties to high ranking people in the World Govt, either that or simply because Shanks is a reasonable person. That line by Sengoku left no room for strength to play any major role, as he's talking about Shanks as a person not as a fighter.

This isn't about whether Shanks can take on his Enemies Solo or not, i personally believe there are barely any Characters who can Defeat him (Like for now, i only put Mihawk & Dragon above him cuz i believe They are Peak Swordsmanship & Peak Martial Arts)

But this is more about how Red-Hair Pirates operate, it's like a Crew captained by Zoro-Like Character, not Luffy,
And by Zoro-Like i don't mean Personality or Role, i mean Theme, even Jolly Roger have Swords instead of Bones

Why is Shanks being a Swordsman Important in this? Because Master Swordsmen never get Serious unless Triggered or Forced to,
We've seen this through Zoro:

He refuses to Finish-Off Hyouzou, so Oda makes Hyouzou try to Attack him from Behind which Triggers Zoro to put him in his Place,
He refuses to Finish-Off Monet, so Oda makes Monet almost Kill Tashigi which Triggers Zoro to put her in her Place,
Pica...
Hawkins...
Killer...
Apoo...
Lucci...

There is always someone in Danger (Such as Tashigi & Pica's Targets) or a Moment that Angers/Triggers Zoro (Such as Kiku's Arm or Sanji's Comment) or a Dishonorable Move (Such as Onimaru intervening in his Fight or Hyouzou trying to backstab even after being allowed to leave)

Same thing applies to Mihawk who refuses to Use a Finishing Technique against Krieg or Luffy or Vista ... etc
Even Zombie Ryuma refused to show his True Power to Brook, and same thing for Shanks,

Shanks only Finished-Off Kid like that because of his Allies that were gonna get Killed, why would Oda add such Scene?
Because it's a Consistent Treat of Master Swordsmen, They will not fully commit unless they need to Protect someone or are Angered

Imagine Zoro with that Mindset being Captain, what would happen if all those Scenarios where something Angers Zoro didn't happen, He wouldn't finish them off, They'd probably end up getting dealt by his Crew instead "EXACTLY" like what happened with Bartolomeo

So this is not an Underestimation of Shanks but simply a Character Analysis that He isn't the kind to deal with Enemies by himself,
And we don't need to prove this actually, Off-Panel Kid Encounter did already happen, and it was Beckman who had to deal with him

Shanks is the only one though pointed out to always come with his crew. No one ever emphasized that Whitebeard pulls up with his crew, or that Big Mom does so, or that Kaido pulls up with King.

Let alone that an admiral is pulling up with a fleet. Or Garp being ganged up by the BB pirates and injured by Shiryu before Aokiji had the balls to go 1 on 1.

People make it sound like pulling up with his gang is Shanks' trademark.
