Mihawk being stronger than shanks is not overhyped. Its being potrayed this way. And roger being weaker than mihawk is headcanon. We can’t prove it. We don’t know when mihawk got his WSS title. I doubt that it was in rogers era.

Roger will always get the benefit of the doubt over every character since basically he was a maxed out Luffy of that era.

No he isn’t. He only has one feat and that is his kamusari that one shotted kidd. Mihawk has more feats in MF and his potrayal as WSS says otherwise. Mihawk got 3,6b bounty and is not even the captain. Plus he boosted buggys bounty into 3,189 b

His only feat is the one flexing on Kidd for the moment and Mihawk will get his feats soon too. Why not wait?

If people were patient enough to see the only feat of Shanks after 20 something years why not wait for Mihawk's one?

A few would like his design and his stoicism, but in the grand scheme of things he has no place in the story as instead of only one person caring about that title, no one would. He'd also lose his best moment against Zoro, where het set the standard of what the WSS looks in action, and how far Zoro has to go to get there, now the best thing he'd done in the Baratie arc is neg some fodder out of boredom. His existence would be the personification of this:

Dragon? He's a cool guy but he has done still less than Mihawk on-panel.

His design looks good though, I personally even bought his P.o.P. (and I don't have many), and he has promise both in hype and in relevance for the future of the story. If he lacks real fans he will get them during this saga guaranteed.
