This right here is the problem. There's very little continuity to it
Divine Departure has none of the trails but is clearly meant to be an ACoC attack. The only reason we know that is because Kidd's crew passed out afterwards
So in the case of something like that but without any (fodder) bystanders how do you determine if it's ACoC or not

But according to some people it's the trails, according to other people it's the sound effects, according to other people it's just if there's any lightning at all, etc
Everyone has different ways of defining it because Oda wants to change the way it looks on a whim
I never said it was an absolute rule, rather if it looks like those images I posted, you can guarantee it's ACoC, if it doesn't look like those images, you're just assuming it is ACoC when it's equally as likely to be CoA.

There are 3 ways we can confidently say adv coc is used -
1) Long haki trail before an attack. For example even though ulti has haki trail when clasing with base luffy before attacking him , its too short in nature.
2) Characters saying directly that adv coc is being used.
3) Oda confirming adv coc himself like in SBS for oden
lightning has been used for armament clashes/high-impact hits of armament haki for a very long time. Franky suplexing fodder in Wano has black lightning. The only time ACoC seems to be depicted is when Oda is showing the "not even touching" impact. It is probably invisible or represented as a boost to other forms of haki.
