Garp is a valuable prisoner, could be exchanged for Pirate Island recognition, or his shadow could be taken. Kuzan is not loyal. His plan is most likely to switch sides when Blackbeard attacks Shanks. Redhair is Roger's model student, while Kuzan is Garp's. Just like their masters fought against Rocks, the students will try to defeat the new Rocks.

Garp is alive, the whole point of taking Koby was to trade him to WG for an official kingdom status for Hachinosu with Blackbeard as its ruler, with Garp this plan can finally succeed. I don't think Blackbeard would be happy if he learned his crew killed his golden ticket.

Kuzan does have his own agenda, but I don't think he's a double agent still working for the marines. More like he sees Blackbeard as the best chance to crash the Celestial Dragon regime and maybe even to see what the one piece is and what the void century was about, considering Ohara still lives rent free in his head. If Oda just makes him X Drake 2.0, it would be absolutely awful.

I guess, since Teach target is being present at Reverie, so the Garp should be alive in order to be able to make a deal. And Kuzan is aware of this despite his own agenda.

& It will looks like a kind of drama when Kuzan feel 'hesitate punch' from Garp before punch Pizarro.

Teach will question Kuzan commitment over his ex background if Garp is dead.

But if Garp went to save Coby on his own accord, with no approvals from Marine HQ, he's probably a SWORD member as well, and is similarly useless to BB.
Although keeping him alive at least till BB arrives makes sense, but I don't see Garp surviving all this.

Interesting parallel with Shanks btw, never thought of that

Oh definitely, if Kuzan was loyal to Marines, he could always stay there, so he's most likely done for good with them.

At the same time, it's likely that he's got his own agenda and this could involve crushing CDs. As ruthless as Kuzan is, he doesn't seem to be rotten to the core and it feels like he's a man with principles. Also the incident on Ohara could be a starting point for Kuzan to start losing his faith in Marines.

Now with Aokiji
I think he can do both

1 he did not want to end Garp so he didn't

2 I think he is loyal to BB
a little bit
Like I don't think he joined so he can bring down BB at the end.

But I don't know his reason to join
Yeah, Aokiji isn't super hostile towards BB, not more than towards any other pirates, so he even may respect BB to serve as his 10th captain. But he has his own agenda and being with BBP somehow makes it easier for him to achieve.
