Questions & Mysteries Is Garp the most evil character in One Piece?

#2
Not trying to defend Garp I simply dont care about it , but Oda clearly stated Garp didnt want to become admiral because in that case he would work directly for CD and Garp directly stated his dislike for CD.

Is simple policeman evil just because his president of country is corrupted or evil man ?

Simple policeman does not work directly for his president so can still perform his job correctly and with justice.

Logic suggest pirates do more evil hence garp and coby ally with marines. Take Kaido or BM for example where BMPs would destroy whole countries if they don't pay tribute to BM. Also without marine's protection , lots of island will fall to pirates.

So garp took the path to protect more people albeit if that means siding with an evil goverment.

I do agree oda has done a bad job of showing it though.

Agenda brainrot is really getting to people, the Garp slander memes should have never been taken seriously enough for people to be making threads like this.
He's not that bad, he constantly refused promotions knowing he could get terminated for it just because he didn't want to work for the CDs. He also initially refused to help the Holy Knights fight off the Rocks Pirates too.
People think he loves to help the CDs based off a misconception, while he DID end up helping them, it's said that he hates and regrets the fact that he helped them and for that reason never even tries to brag about his accomplishments in God Valley. Something basically forced him to side with the CDs for once- It wasn't his choice.

Nope.

Garp is interested in only one thing, to chase pirates which most are scum anyways.

Garp didn't even take the responsibilities of being an Admiral, let alone take the heavier responsibility of liberating the oppressed. Not all people are meant to be someone like Nika or Dragon.

Garp's character hasn't shown the least bit of philosophy outside of his physical training. His character is a simple man, he chase pirates and that's it. Much like Mihawk who's only interested in sword duels.

Look at this:

And how Garp shows up to serve his masters like a dog he is:

Complete evil rivals Imu, because Celestial dragons do that for their own amusement, Garp enjoy to ''serve'' them like a dog similar to Akainu.. Thats why Oda is a great writer, you think pirates are evil and Garp is hero, turns out Garp is the evilest guy out there.

He laughs in the face of slaves.

Garp is the freest man on the seas.
