There's nothing for Jinbei to redeem himself from. This was not a testament to Jinbei's fraudulence as the low IQ One Piss fans think but a testament to Goddess Gunko's strength

Going by how Oda has portrayed Jinbe so far in the series where it is shown he is not a top tier but can hold his own against them for clashes means that Jinbe will definitely redeem himself.
Remember his 'dream' and Fisher Tiger attacking MG. No way Jinbe does not get back against the CDs/HKs.

Even if you know how Perona's Hax works, you still wouldn't be able to stop it outside of maybe having strong enough Haki to resist it or outright avoiding the ghosts.
Same is likely for Gunko's hax as well. Even if they figure out her devil fruit, it doesn't mean it'll fall apart as I don't think it's weakness will be as exploitable as Apoo's, where earplugs completely nullify his devil fruit.

But that's my point. When the hax will be removed, how is she going to deal with his attacks without strength or haki? I guess you could say regen but this will also be dealt with.
So all I'm saying is I want to see them fight once the hax isn't a factor anymore. Because let's be real if the regen can't be bypassed then they’re invincible. Which they aren't.

I mean she can still do other things with her arrows besides simply redirect attacks, like augment herself however she wants, amplify her attacks and possibly speed as she did against Loki, tangle her foes up or directly pierce them with her arrows, etc. Her devil fruit isn't just some direction gimmick, and she does have Haki of her own.
She honestly went easy on the Straw Hats given what she's showcased on Loki, and I don't think much will change just because Jinbei has an idea on what her devil fruit is about.
As for regen, well that's IF he figures it out, which is possible, but not guaranteed.
