Because the Barto club will continue to exist as a pirate crew
the kid pirates won’t. They won’t die, but they will probably end up serving Teach.

Again if Xebec had Shiki and WB, you can’t seriously think that Janitor and Koby’s victim are the best Teach will have.

The thing is, Oda made it to where Imu has 13 guys that can only be defeated by conquerors.
Which makes it to where any major ally Luffy has that is a conqueror has a decent chance of playing some role in the finale.
That said at this point I could see Kid legitimately being dead. I am just doubtful as I think it would be a pretty meaningless death.

Which leaves one more spot for a potential ally
Doffy- He has a axe to grind with the holy land and Luffy has been known to have temporary alliances with people that where once an enemy
Kidd- status currently unknown likely dead but if he is not then he can fill that final spot in the conquerors roster
Dragon- Hasn't been confirmed but we can speculate he has it and we already know he wants to take down the celestial dragons
Sanji- Potential to gain conquerors in the near future and one of the wings of the pirate king

Just using wano for reference, I doubt the old legends or even the mid gens will be that important in the finale. They had decades to do something and they didn’t. The story is them waiting to pass the torch to the worst generation.
It’s like Marco in Wano. He fought Big Mom and the calamities but it was the wings and the captains that ultimately beat them.
