Character Discussion Is Kids a realistic version of Luffy

No realistic Luffy will be the one who after tasting the multiple defeat throughout Sabaody to Marineford would undergo training arc to make both him and his crew worthy of New World. And every time he got brought down, he would find ways to make himself better. Like find ways to learn more advanced forms of Haki....wait that sounds too familiar...
Luffy is smarter than Kid and has a better personality. Of course he is going to attract more people with his behavior than Kidd will.
And he got his lessons in Sabaody and learned from it. He decided to train and his crew actually prepared for the NW.
He also has greater potential and a far stronger crew. I mean he doesn't even have to participate if Kidd's crew goes after his crew, Zoro, Sanji and Jimbei can take care of them.
So the answer is no, Kidd is not a realistic version of Luffy, he is a just hot headed guy who overestimate himself and his crew. And his crew is also not balanced as nobody would contest the bad decisions Kidd take. We have seen Nami or Zoro calming Luffy down whenever his decisions aren't the right ones and he respects them enough to listen to them.

Kidd just gathered more iron, and later awakened his df which Luffy did too amyway, lol
No Kid is even dumber than Luffy.

And against Kaido he had to act up because his crew and friends were in danger. He was also angry after seeing Tama injured. And he learned that he needed to improve his haki to defeat Kaido. If he didn't have that first encounter with Kaido, tehy would have get wrecked during the raid.
Wrong he listened to his crewmates when they asked him not to fight BM. If Kidd was in front pf BM, he would have chosen to fight her.
Luffy knew they had to run away, he took all the best decisions he had to in WCI. Ally with Bege despite a personal grudge, following Bege plan, running away from BM, taking on Katakuri, leasing Jimbei behind.

And it wasn’t an equal clash. BM suck him up and drained him, Luffy was a mess just after that and his whole crew was caught.

Yeah Luffy was mad and acted without thinking at all. He just endangered himself . Instead of hiding and looking for a better opportunity or checking about his men he rushed at Kaido
Because he was lucky enough to survive and had the possibility to train.
In a real set up : Kaido TB him and kill him or torture him, cut an arm etc etc etc. Luffy had it easy as always
