Remember that Zoro is the same man who claimed he would never lose again and so far he was never totally defeated in a fight. Even vs Kizaru he technically did not despite he was obviously right about to.

Zoro's promises are just that good and peculiar, no one else's can compare. After all he never broke one.

Tbh, if Sanji solos any calamity and gets a really good Mr Prince moment too (but on a bigger scale this time), I'll be more than happy and Sanji stans should be too. He doesn't need to get to the roof and fight the yonkos to prove himself as an important part of the crew and the alliance in general.
