Future Events Is Oda trying to remove Kid and Law from the One Piece battle?

Kid literally could not beat BM without Law. They needed each other. Stop. They both were pushed to the brink.

- Bepo/Jean at Marineford saving Luffy/Jinbe with Law and playing their roles
- Bepo at Zou with dialogue and being tied to a Mink that BM killed (his brother).

Name me one thing Heat did outside of a flamethrower attack at Sabaody. Name me one thing Wire did outside of a random kick. Fuck even Saachi/Penguin had funny dialogue with Bepo at Amazon Lily.

Like I said they can totally do a few things in this fight, but its going to be the same thing Law's group got. Minimal exposition. They arent the focus of the crew.

no one here can imagine them as competitive villains for luffy and friends
simply put their crew stops at 2 people for kidd and one person for law.


contrast that with the assets for shanks and even more so for BB
they would make far better antagonist
and defeating young upstarts who now command emperor esque bounties like kidd and law would be a good way to cement both their position in the three legged race for one piece. kidd and law ofc dont have to die , they would continue to grow and will likely act as allies come end of the story.

Since Egghead I have the impression that Oda wants to put the last competitors of Luffy forward that we know from the beginning, Shanks and Blackbeard.

The fact that just after beating Big Mom in 2v1. Kid and Law both end up facing Shanks and Blackbeard and that the purpose of the fight is to have a poneglyph in the race for One Piece makes me think that.

Meanwhile Luffy is on Vegapunk Island.

Law has to use his special operation.
Kidd will lose but "fate"( an interruption) will save him. Also I am sure he will get a big powerup. He will be one of the last Luffy's villain.
